United Breaks Guitars (Series Broken Separately)
It's catchy. It's righteous. It's Canadian content. And, oh yeah, it's funny.
United Breaks Guitars
Although, if I were to pen a ditty every time Customer Service treated me with less respect than a child molester, I'd probably be releasing a song a week.
Yesterday, for example, my local comic book store--for the THIRD time in less than two months--didn't bother to order series issues that were in my pull list. Let me explain for non-geeks. If it's not in on the day, you're never going to see it. You can't order released comics. No, really. It's insane, but totally true. You can only order them a week before release. In fact, you MUST order them then. So if your guy is a continual fuck-up, you are also fucked.
And the attitude, my god, the attitude.
I'm sure this brutal aspect of comics kills a ridiculous amount of sales. If a series catches your eye at issue #2, there's no point. You will never, ever, unless you have a TARDIS, be able to get issue #1. But when you add in how many owners have less interest in their business than a pigeon has in cars...
